Getting there
By train
Deutsche Bahn trains operate at regular intervals from Bremen to Bremerhaven. From the train station you can reach the venue:
- by bus: take no. 504 / 503 / 505 / 507 / 508 to Elbinger Platz, then walk westward for around 7 min,
- or have a walk of about 18 min along Bismarkstraße and Kaistraße.
By car
You reach Bremerhaven by car via the federal motorway A 27 which leads from Bremen to Bremerhaven. Taking the exit "Bremerhaven Mitte" you can reach the central locations of the Alfred Wegener Institute.
For international guests
The nearest airports are Bremen and Hamburg. You would need to reach the Bremen train station and from there take a regional train to Bremerhaven.

Street parking is available in the vicinity of building H.
