The 2024 General Assembly of the WarmWorld project will be hosted by the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven, Germany, from Monday 14 October to Wednesday 16 October 2024.

In the first half of the event, all the WarmWorld modules will be brought together in a plenary session to report on the progress of the project. This session will also provide an opportunity for a discussion on the roadmap towards the second phase of the WarmWorld project.

Following the plenary, the modules will hold their annual meetings, which will run in parallel.

Timeline:

1 May 2024 -- Registration opens
1 Sept 2024 -- Registration closes
14 Oct 2024 -- Welcome to Bremerhaven!

The 5th nextGEMS hackathon will take place in Wageningen, NL, in parallel with this event, on 14-18 Oct 2024. Do you plan on attending the last 2 days of the hackathon? Based on your responses during registration, we will examine the possibility of arranging transport from Bremerhaven to Wageningen on Wed, 16 Oct, in the afternoon.
