As in previous years, we are again offering an interactive 1.5 day workshop (29 – 30 June 2026) to support early-stage postdocs and late-stage doctoral candidates in strategically advancing their research careers and successfully securing research funding. Participants will explore key elements of academic career development, learn how to identify and make effective use of external funding opportunities, and gain practical guidance on developing competitive grant proposals. Through expert input, practical exercises, and discussion, the workshop helps researchers position themselves for future research leadership.
The workshop will take place on site at MPI-M and is limited to 15 participants. Registration is now open and will be closed on 10 April, 2026.
